Lenovo ThinkPad X201 CMOS Battery Replacement

To get to the CMOS battery in the ThinkPad X201 you first need to remove the keyboard and then the palm rest:

Then you can slide up the keyboard slightly and carefully remove it:

Now you need to remove the palm rest:

You can now replace the CMOS battery!

You can either purchase one from eBay or Amazon or make you own (like I do):
