To get to the CMOS battery you need to remove the keyboard and to remove the keyboard you need to remove the palm rest..
There are 4 screws underneath the laptop that need to be removed so you can take off the palm rest:
Once you have undone the screws, flip the laptop over and carefully remove the palm rest:
To remove the keyboard there is one more screw underneath to unscrew:
Then the keyboard can be removed as follows:
Now you can (finally) access the CMOS battery so you can replace it:
Where Can You Get A Replacement Battery From?
They are still available on places like Amazon and eBay as all they are, are a CR2032 3V battery on a 2 prong cable with a JST connector on the end.
Or, you can do what I do and re-use the existing JST connector/lead and make your own:
I've made some stickers that I can easily write the Month/Year on that I can stick on the inside of the laptop so anybody opening up the laptop in the future will know the date the CMOS RTC Battery was changed.
